Solar Rollers at AREDAY

The Solar Rollers display at American Renewable Energy Day was in good company. Also on display was a carbon fiber Formula E racecar, which is much like a giant Solar Roller, electrically speaking, without the solar. Why don't they cover these racecars in solar? Also on display was a veggie-oil powered Dakar-style enduro motorcycle and Colorado Mountain College's sophisticated mobile integrated energy laboratory.
